April 19 - 26    Grenada April 19 - 26.  We have 2 spots open

May 17         Pinta Salvage  (John Jack) www.captainzero.com   Pinta was a freighter    with a cargo of exotic wood.  We will be salvaging wood from this wreck.  80 ft.

June 13-15    Morehead City, NC   (Olympus diving)   This will be 3 days of diving in NC; warm blue water and sharks.  Cost is $365 which includes charter and lodging  65 - 130 feet.       

July 26 - August 2      Curacao

As many of you know, Smokey's was owned for more than 35 years by William "Smokey" Roberts and his wife Dorothy (Dotty). In the mid 1990's it was sold to long time employee Mark Myers, who for various reasons, decided in 2007 to close this institution down.

This past fall, a trio of new owners, Bud Bracken, John Katerenchuk, and James Zimmerman approached Mark about the possibilities of re-organizing and re-opening the organization under new and revitalized leadership. We are currently in the process of determining exactly what our new format will be, but rest assured, Smokey's is coming back!!

The much missed, and beloved "Dive Report" is already back so please join our mailing list by clicking the link above. We're also working up a new calendar of classes and trips. Over the next few months, this web site will evolve and be revised with new information, so check back frequently for the latest!
